Rachel's POV
Morning came faster than I could realize. One minute I was watching the movie and the next I was unraveling my lids to bright sunlight kissing my face. Muttering profanities, I stirred, feeling a hard and warm cushion beneath my head.
The first thing my attention went to was where the sunlight was coming from. It seemed we had both forgotten to draw the curtains last night, leaving the long glass windows bare for the rays to seep through.
"Shit," I muttered as I sat up, a cramp in my neck from how I slept.
"Careful," Lorenzo's husky voice reached my ears as I massaged the spot, leaning my head back on the couch. "I can't feel my legs either."
I scoffed at that and angled my face in his path to see a playful tilt to his lips though his eyes remained close. "When did you wake?"
