Although the Heavenly Saint Sect seemed desolate, with no Sage Monarch within its ranks, the Nascent Soul-level cultivation methods might have ceased to exist without his help.
However, can the Heavenly Saint Sect truly be bullied by other sects at will now?
Probably not!
Many Nascent Soul Sage Monarchs of the Righteous Path sects were already renowned when the Heavenly Saint Sect flourished. They were the Prides of Heaven of their generation and had, more or less, received favors from the Heavenly Saint Sect, then the foremost sect of the Righteous Path.
These favors are not typically invoked. After all, conflicts exist between sects, with frequent clashes over resources and interests.
But if the Heavenly Saint Sect were ever on the verge of annihilation, those Sage Monarchs who had received its grace would intervene, ensuring its lineage would not be severed.
