Old Mr. Standford helped her escape, so it's unbelievable that Thomas Shannon wouldn't punish Old Mr. Standford.
"Derek Clark's words can't be false. Since Dr. Standford doesn't want to leave, then we shouldn't force him."
Sophie Sullivan was suspicious. "Lucifer, I always feel this affair isn't that simple. Thomas Shannon won't let it go easily..."
Lucifer put down his knife and fork and elegantly wiped the corner of his mouth with a napkin. "Cecilia, don't worry. No matter what Thomas Shannon wants to do, I won't let him hurt you."
He raised his hand and rubbed her head. "I'll take care of everything."
Sophie Sullivan nodded. "Let's not talk about him. It's a mood killer."
