The call disconnected.
Sophie Sullivan was stunned for a good while before realizing Lucifer had hung up on her!
A few seconds later, the phone rang again. It was Lucifer calling back.
Sophie Sullivan slowly breathed a sigh of relief and answered the phone, "Lucifer…"
"Just as I thought, it's Cecilia Branford calling me."
At first, seeing an unknown number, Lucifer had dismissed it and hung up. A moment later, however, he realized the area code was for Country A and immediately called back.
Indeed, just as he'd suspected, it was Cecilia Branford calling him.
"Thomas Shannon snatched my mobile phone, so I had no choice but to steal someone else's to call you," Sophie Sullivan said, shrugging helplessly as she feigned nonchalance.
In reality, she was so furious she wanted to pummel Thomas Shannon.
