Everyone felt threatened, hardly daring to breathe. In their hearts, they all grieved for Sophie Sullivan. She was the first person to dare to slap Young Master. Her fate, without a doubt, would be extremely miserable.
Thomas Shannon's face darkened, his deep eyes, seemingly frosted over, like threatening shards of ice piercing straight towards her. His thin lips were pressed tightly. For that slap, Sophie had used all her strength. Now, a handprint was visible on his handsome, fair face. He remained silent, the chilling aura he exuded was suffocating.
Sophie bit the corner of her mouth. Just the thought that Raina Bell could still escape punishment, that she could remain unscathed after everything she had done, made her unable to suppress her anger. She couldn't stop herself from wanting to confront him, to cause a scene.
"Thomas Shannon, we're done!" Sophie withdrew her gaze, stubbornly straightening her back, and turned to leave.
