She suddenly opened her eyes, meeting the man's cold eyes, which were as deep as a cold-pool.
These were the eyes she knew best. But now, they were as deep as a breakless ocean, unfathomable.
She couldn't detect any hint of his emotions.
Her collar was pulled tight, constricting her neck painfully.
"Thomas Shannon, have you gone mad?"
Sophie Sullivan raised her hand and forcefully pried his away, rubbing her own neck. He'd nearly strangled her!
Has he gone mad?
Is he trying to murder me?!
Thomas Shannon sneered, raising his hand and pointing to his own head. "Don't you have anything to say to me?"
"Yes." Sophie Sullivan nodded. Thomas Shannon calmly waited for her to continue. A slight smile touched Sophie Sullivan's red lips. "Get lost."
Thomas Shannon's facial color suddenly turned gloomy. He pinched her jaw, leaning down and staring at her. "Sophie Sullivan, have I indulged you too much?"
"In what way?"
"In every way."
