As Raina Bell watched him leave, she seemed to be in a trance.
When Thomas Shannon returned to the castle, Minimus Hart had already prepared bathwater. "Young Master, the bath is ready."

Thomas Shannon went upstairs, and Minimus Hart followed. Thomas Shannon turned his head and shot a cold glance at her. "What are you doing coming up here?"
Startled, Minimus Hart replied with a smile, "I'm here to serve you."
"There's no need."
Minimus Hart bowed her head, a trace of loss flitting through her eyes. "Understood."
Returning to his bedroom, Thomas Shannon's gaze darkened as it fell on the double bed. Unbuttoning his shirt, he sneered. Sophie Sullivan, I want to see if you'll come back on your own.
Withdrawing his gaze, he turned and entered the bath chamber.
