She quickly averted her gaze, seemingly scared.
CLANG!
Sophie Sullivan threw the fork in front of her onto the plate, making a crisp sound. Her perfect, petal-like red lips curled into a sarcastic arc. "I've seen plenty of scheming women. Is this the type all you men like?"
This remark even mocked William Guillen.
William Guillen's brow furrowed, and Charlotte immediately snuggled into his arms, seeking protection. Her timid appearance was like that of a naive girl.
"Maniac, who are you talking about?" William Guillen still maintained a humble and gentle smile.
"I'm talking about your woman."
Sophie Sullivan crossed her arms, her hazy eyes revealing a deep arrogance. "I'm in no mood to deal with any woman, so don't bother trying to test me. When the time comes, don't play the victim. People who don't know any better might think I actually did something to you. We don't know each other, and I can't bear you calling me 'Elder Sister'."
