Sophie Sullivan put Harry down. Harry bounced twice on the lawn, shaking himself all over.
Grass fragments continually fell from him.
Sophie jumped onto the haystack, lay back, and squinted at the blue sky and white clouds.
Such a good day was perfect for a good sleep.
She placed one hand over her eyes, ready to sleep.
Harry climbed onto the haystack, his claws treading carefully on her legs as he slowly walked to her chest.
"MEOW..." he tested, his claws gently prodding.
Sophie lifted him by the scruff of his neck, dangling him in the air. "If you make any more noise, I'll make you into soup and drink it!"
"MEOW." Harry's fur bristled, and he wagged his tail pitifully.
Sophie tossed him aside. Harry let out a wail, spinning in the air before landing on all fours.
Undeterred, Harry climbed back onto the haystack.
This time, he was smarter. He walked along the haystack directly to Sophie's side, then pressed his furry body against her and curled up.
