"If that's the case, why am I here?" Sheila questioned the Alphas.
To her frustration, it appeared as though Tyler was claiming all the vampiresses in the Collin Coven, while everybody else chose their pickings among the planets they had conquered. According to Tyler's claim on capturing all the Collin Coven's vampiresses, Sheila felt as if she had just been backstabbed by him, considering everything they had once shared.
War and getting laid were all these pathetic males ever thought about, and it drove Sheila crazy, especially with Tyler. If not for Zaid Landlock, her newfound clan Alpha, and his Royal family who had brought her, her friends, and their few undetained family members into their Coven around the time the first war ended, she never would have attended the meeting in the first place.
Eons ago, during the ancient ages, Sheila and her four shapeshifter friends lost their Coven after the Collins successfully defeated them in an ambush attack. Near the end of the first war, they were on the verge of victory until Kai ambushed them from atop the cliffs with a second army from an unexpected area. Everyone in her Coven, including her family and the Royals, never saw it coming. On that dreadful day, Sheila and her four friends lost everything to the Collins.
To this very day, Sheila vividly remembers every vampiress she fought during the last battle with the Collin Coven. However, the ones she hated the most were Sharlene, Leah, and especially Rose. Above all, Rose was at the top of her vengeance list. If it wasn't for Rose, her adopted human son would still be alive. After his death, vengeance on Rose rotted her heart with greed to obtain it. Tyler knew the heartache she harbored for those specific vampiresses, yet he didn't seem to regard her feelings about them with his claim to have them as his.
"If Victoria remains alive after the votes, our first attack on the Collins is where we'll be needing your assistance," Zaid declared, pulling Sheila out of the awful scars and painful memories the Collins had forever engraved in her heart.
Solid about keeping her emotions composed, she smothered those feelings deep beneath the crater of her heart.
"And what do you want us to do?" Sheila inquired, skeptically eyeing them through the slits of her eyes.
"Simple," Bryce explained. "When we go up against the Collins, it will be your job to confront the Collins' warrioresses while we keep the vampires occupied. The vampiresses will likely be the ones to protect Victoria."
"Oh, finally, I'll get a piece of Sharlene!" exclaimed Eleanor, the predatory vampiress standing alongside her friend Sheila.
Days after Sheila and the four Shapeshifter vampiresses lost everything, Eleanor and the other three Predatory vampiresses had also lost their Coven to the Collins. Sheila's and Eleanor's Covens had been allies from the moment their Superior Headmasters arose on the same planet. Not long after losing their Coven Royals and friends, their shared allies, the Landlock Coven, took them in and gave them a new place to call home, as they and some of their families were the sole undetained beings from their Covens.
"Depending on when and if this happens, I doubt Sharlene will be joining any battles anytime soon," Zaid chuckled, hinting at a little secret he had recently learned.
"Why would you assume that?" Eleanor questioned him, expressing her disbelief at hearing such words. Sharlene wasn't one to ever back down from a battle.
"She's pregnant with a little vampiress," Zaid grinned, revealing the news.
"Who is the father?" Eleanor gave another skeptical hiss. "She isn't married! The Collins would likely exile her for adultery!"
Zaid divulged further, "I'm not sure who the father is, but a Hunter clan was behind that scheme when their Alpha, named Rex, took an interest in taking Victoria as his pet. Of course, Rex called a forfeit during the battle after his mistress was detained. I guess he loved his mistress more than the idea of stealing Victoria; as I overheard, Rex ended up marrying his mistress. But that's all the information I have."
"If that's the case, I don't want anyone harming Sharlene and her unborn daughter. They're both mine," Tyler strictly instructed, mostly directing his order towards Sheila and Eleanor, who were thirstier for vengeance like Andrew compared to anybody else.
"Whatever!" Eleanor exclaimed, snubbing her nose up to the ceiling while crossing her arms.
"Anyhow, now that the terms have been agreed upon and settled, what is your next strategy involving the Rebellion army you've created?" Dustin questioned, seeking answers from the Alphas involved in leading the Rebellion.
However, Dustin asked more out of wonderment since he was now playing on both sides of the battlefield.
Quietness lingered among the Rebellion Allies as they exchanged looks, each silently contemplating amongst their group on what to divulge and what to keep hidden.
"It's time we target planets that associate with allies of the Collins and the Mills," Bryce revealed as a sinister grin stretched to his ears.
"Really?" Andrew was intrigued as he liked that idea. "Which ones are you striking first?"
"You'll be more hyped up to know that our first target will be destroying the home planet where Sean and Devon live," Zaid announced, watching as Andrew's eyes beam with enthusiasm at the thought of crushing Kai's best friends.
"Count me in on this battle," Andrew affirmed, loving the idea of getting a piece of Devon and his Coven again.
"Excellent!" Zaid chuckled. "In case Victoria gets her votes, we'll need to reduce their numbers beforehand. Devon's and Sean's Covens won't be easy to go up against, so we could use the extra help in eliminating them," he declared, having it all planned out in his head.
Every detail was carefully plotted and executed. Apart from the fact that Victoria was still alive, these plans had been progressing quite nicely for them, as most Covens were turning against Victoria just as they had originally intended.
"Do you honestly feel she'll get her votes with all this destruction?" Dustin asked, hoping Victoria might have a small chance of passing the votes. He really wanted to kill her himself if it were possible.
"By the end of all the chaos, there isn't a chance Victoria will get her votes," Skylar claimed confidently. "But we need to put in the extra effort of eliminating the allies of the Collins and the Mills in case she does."
"I suppose so," Dustin mumbled, feeling partially disappointed that he might not get to kill Victoria himself.
With the meeting concluded, Dustin, Andrew and his sister, Etta, left with their clans, who had stayed outside during the meeting.
Once they were long gone, Skylar asked, "Do you think they'll learn about our true plans?"
"The only ones who know about our true intentions with creating this Rebellion are us, and we'll be sure to keep it that way," Zaid grinned evilly, peering at all his most trusted allies.
