"How can this be considered retribution?" Gavin Graves caressed her cheek and thought for a moment, "This should be called destiny."
Cherry looked up at him, "What do you mean by destiny?"
Gavin said, "It's the fate of marriage, the chance that brought two people together. You helped heal my hand, and I will help heal yours. I promise it'll be just as functional and beautiful as a real hand. When we grow old, won't it be interesting to look back? You heal my right hand, I heal your left hand."
Hearing this, Cherry laughed, "Yeah, it sounds like a perfect match!"
Her mood suddenly brightened, and she was no longer depressed.
Gavin said to her again, "Tomorrow someone will come to take measurements; it's needed for making the prosthetic."
"Will it be exactly like a real hand?" Cherry asked excitedly.
