Mr. Taylor's words completely set Amelia Charlie off.
She abruptly stood up, hysterically shouting, "What did you say?"
Mr. Taylor, head bowed and showing no sign of remorse, replied, "I said it's impossible! I really like Camilla. There's no way I can leave her."
Amelia, furious, extended her trembling hand and pointed at him, "You, say that again!"
Mr. Taylor, infuriatingly, repeated, "I said I won't leave Camilla. She is the one who truly loves me!"
Amelia's body swayed, looking like she might collapse any second.
Mr. Taylor stood up, "When you married me, wasn't it just to leverage the Taylor family's influence to help your Brother seize the Charlie family's wealth? You never loved me! I've tolerated you all my life. Now that I'm old, what's wrong with finding true love?"
Upon hearing these words, Amelia's eyes widened in shock unable to utter a word.
