"Auntie, how is grandfather?" Jane Sampson saw Brooke Black coming out and quickly stood up, walking over to her. She reached out and grabbed Brooke's hand, her voice trembling, "Auntie, did something happen to James Black?"
Brooke's expression changed; she really didn't expect Jane to be so sensitive.
Brooke shook her head, "What nonsense are you thinking? James is perfectly fine; how could anything happen to him?"
"Auntie, I'm asking you, please don't hide anything about James from me." Jane bit her lips, "I'm doing fine here, yet grandfather is ill. Plus, James isn't home, and these few days, grandfather hasn't mentioned anything about James. If something hadn't happened to James, what else could be the reason?"
