The balcony was right up front, and Jillian Carter ran out and climbed directly onto it.
Joseph Shaw rushed out and pulled her back with a forceful tug.
"Jillian Carter!" Joseph Shaw roared, "Get a grip!"
"No one wants me anymore, what's the point of me living?" Jillian Carter was pinned down on the ground level by Joseph Shaw, unable to move, she struggled a bit, but couldn't break free, then burst into tears, "You don't want me either. If I die, you'll have peace! Don't stop me, let go of me! Joseph Shaw, let go of me!"
Joseph Shaw used a great deal of effort to pull the crying and fussing Jillian Carter back to the bedroom.
Looking at Jillian Carter sitting at the bed edge, crying almost to exhaustion, Joseph Shaw only felt like a relentless claw was tightly grasping his heart, slowly tightening, five claws digging into meat, nearly crushing his heart.
No one is born knowing how to love someone.
Loving someone has always been a process of stumbling and searching.
