"More like a glutton cat," Coco Edwards chimed in next to Jane Sampson, teasingly adding, "Or maybe a greedy monkey?"
The mention of a greedy monkey instantly made everyone in the house burst into laughter.
The whole atmosphere in the house lightened up immediately.
It was as if the previous apprehension had suddenly disappeared without a trace.
"It's fine, eat all you want. If you eat too much, grandma will rub your belly." Granny Carter finally let Jane Sampson go. She was so pleased that the wrinkles on her face were very visible with her smile.
This was one of the few times since James Carter's accident that Granny Carter could smile so comfortably.
"Does that mean I get to enjoy good food?" Coco Edwards laughed, "It's really important to follow the right boss."
