James Carter turned his head to ask his assistant, "I watched Jillian grow up. When she was little, I was busy with music, busy with studying, although I wasn't constantly by her side, I still cared for her as she grew up. I don't quite understand why she suddenly turned out this way, completely unrecognizable."
"Everyone grows up, and when they do, they start wanting more things, their own thoughts increase, and once greed takes hold, it can never be suppressed." The assistant sighed heavily. This greed isn't just about money.
James Carter didn't respond for a long time.
After a while, he took out his mobile phone and made a call to Father Carter.
"Dad, Jane and I have booked a high-speed train ticket for an hour later. If you have time, come back once. Also, if grandpa and grandma are in the countryside, bring them along."
James Carter paused at this, then added, "Ask Mother to call Jillian and Joseph Shaw back as well."
