"Smiling so happily, you must be thinking about your wife." Old Master Black caught the slight expression on James Black's face and immediately teased.
James Black reined in his expression.
The atmosphere was just right, since they were old acquaintances, and Jane Sampson's identity meant the two families were even closer.
Suddenly, Father Carter's mobile phone rang.
Mother Carter, sitting next to her husband, glanced unintentionally and saw it was Joseph Shaw. She said worriedly, "Answer it quickly, is there something going on with Jillian?"
Having raised her daughter herself, Mother Carter couldn't help but worry.
Father Carter nodded and picked up the call.
Just a few seconds later, Father Carter's expression completely changed.
"What is it?" Mother Carter had never seen her husband wear such an expression before.
