"Did you hear me calling you?" Jane Sampson protested, "You heard it, yet you didn't answer me? Also, how am I being sneaky? I was standing openly in the doorway, okay?"
"I didn't hear you calling me; I just saw a silhouette at the doorway." James Black sat down beside her, "Looking for me about something?"
Jane Sampson nodded, then relayed what Bright Sampton had just told her to James Black, and asked, "Where do you think the Chip Family would hide their scummy son?"
"The scummy son isn't mine, how would I know?" James Black chuckled at Jane Sampson's question.
Jane Sampson was taken aback by James Black's rhetorical question. Seeing James Black sitting there laughing, she pouted and muttered, "Hmph, you don't even have a scummy son."
James Black raised his hand to rub Jane Sampson's head, "I will teach our child well."
Seeing Jane Sampson glance at him, James Black continued, "I can't guess where the Chip Family would hide David Chip either."
