Jane Sampson struggled to lift her seemingly heavy head and drank half a cup of water in one gulp.
"Do you want to drink more?" James Black asked, holding the empty cup.
Jane Sampson shook her head, "Help me up, I want to sit up."
James Black responded with a sound, supporting her waist, and pulling her hand to help her sit upright.
"Am I at the hospital?" Jane Sampson looked around and glanced outside the window, "Is the sun setting?"
"No, it's almost daybreak." James Black pulled Jane Sampson into his arms, "You've made me worry for a whole day and night."
Jane Sampson was suspicious that James Black might be scamming her.
She just had a fever, how could she have been asleep for a whole day and night?
But thinking about it, she had indeed slept for a whole day and night, for so long, no wonder she didn't even have the strength to sit up just now.
