"Little Jane!" Quincy Forest called out to Jane Sampson the moment she saw her, waving her hand energetically as a greeting.
"What a coincidence, you're here too?" Jane Sampson exclaimed in surprise before sitting down in the empty seat next to her. She then turned her head to look at Kane Forest, "Hello, Mr. Forest!"
Ever since Jane found out that Kane Forest was Mimi Wood in the game and not Forest, her perception of him completely changed. The sense of distance she had felt before instantly evaporated.
Now, he seemed more like an old friend. Even though Kane Forest still maintained a cold and indifferent expression, just thinking about how he was the warm and helpful Mimi Wood from the game made Jane's heart see him as a truly good person.
Kane Forest's eyes lingered on Jane Sampson's elated face for a few seconds before slowly shifting away. He responded with a faint "hmm," and his gaze moved from her face down to the back of her hand.
