The two of them and one dog went out for a walk, and when they returned, they had three dogs with them.
Jane Sampson was particularly excited all the way back home, bursting through the door and shouting toward Old Master Black, "Grandfather, grandfather, come look quickly, the Great General has brought his ugly wife to meet the parents."
Old Master Black was already in the courtyard when Jane Sampson entered, so he saw her immediately.
He rose to his feet with a hint of curiosity and asked, "What's going on?"
Jane Sampson then recounted to Old Master Black how the Great General took her to the small park. After listening, Old Master Black burst into laughter, "I've heard people say that they've seen the Great General always carrying food to the small park, and also seen him with a stray dog. Turns out he was romancing. They even have children now."
