Great! Daddy Black was angry, and she had no idea why.
"Ha." James Black almost laughed out of annoyance, swept away Jane's randomly poking hand from his shoulder, and then shifted a little to the side.

After moving, she looked at the gap that could fit another person between herself and James and felt unappeased. She turned over, presenting the back of her head directly to James.
After turning over, Jane started to recall what she did today that might have upset James.
Could it be because she made a fuss about him buying popcorn while shopping and that upset him?
