She smiled at him gently, "Elias, it's been a while since we last met."
Elias nodded, took off his backpack, "I'll go upstairs to do my homework."
He didn't want to disturb the reunion between Aldana and her daughter, Fruit.
Eric said, "I'll make dinner. What do you want to eat today?"
Aldana replied warmly, "Anything is fine, let's just eat what we used to, Fruit isn't picky."
After she spoke, she pinched Fruit's little cheek with a smile, "Right?"
Fruit nodded adorably and obediently, "Yeah! I love eating everything!"
Eric looked at Fruit. Though she was Philip Shaw's daughter, she was truly adorable, sweet, and well-behaved. If Aldana had grown up in a good family, she might have been like this too.
He withdrew his gaze, went over to open the fridge, took out a bag of fresh vegetables, and headed to the kitchen.
