She softly expressed her gratitude, receiving a sweet smile with dimples in return.
It wasn't that she hadn't had breakfast with Philip Shaw before, but indeed, this was the first time in so long that they had a meal together this late in the day.
It seemed she hadn't eaten much the day before, and now, as soon as she started eating, she found she was actually a bit hungry.
Perhaps because she was eating more than usual, by the time she realized it, Philip Shaw was resting his chin on his hand, watching her.
"What is it?"
"I don't know why, but it seems like you're in a good mood today."
"Not really," Aldana Candi said, taking a sip of porridge, "it's just that I slept a bit better."
"Are you implying that I'm constantly disturbing your sleep?"
"That's pretty much it."
He laughed lightly: "You didn't say that before."
Aldana remained calm: "You weren't like this before either."
He seemed to be in a good mood because of her words and laughed out loud.
