The room was rented yesterday, and the belongings haven't been moved in yet.
In the not-so-large house, there's only a bed placed in the center.
Aldana Candi walked in, sat on the bed, and looked at her phone for a while until she received a text from Philip Shaw: [I'm home.]
She smiled, turned off the light, and then fell asleep.
An uneventful night.
Perhaps due to the relief in her heart, she felt particularly light when she woke up the next day.
She went to brush her teeth, and when she came out, she heard a knock on the door. She went to open it and saw Philip Shaw at the door in casual clothes, holding a bag of food packaging.
She was in simple pajamas, without a bra underneath, and felt a bit embarrassed to see a man first thing in the morning. She took a step back, "Why are you here so early?"
