Maple looked at her.
Perhaps the recent events have been too overwhelming, and the blow to Norris Moore was too much. She looked noticeably thinner compared to when she was in London.
The oversized sunglasses almost covered her entire petite face, leaving only a bit of her thin, fair chin exposed.
"Don't be too restrained."
Maple spoke lightly, stepping forward.
Norris Moore watched his tall back, touched her nose, and quickly followed.
She kicked the small stones on the ground as she walked carelessly, almost tripped, but was politely supported by the man's hand.
She felt a bit embarrassed, lifted her head, and saw a slight warm smile on Maple's stern face. Seeing her look over, he let go, lightly cleared his throat, and then said, "Do you and your apprentice both walk like this?"
Norris Moore was startled for a moment, then realized he was talking about Ava.
Norris Moore touched her nose, "If you go out, Ava has to stay home alone with little Ava, right?"
