Keira Leaf felt like her whole body was falling apart, taking every step was difficult.
Joshua Sulliven stayed with her and stopped at the door next to her. When she opened the door, Keira was about to thank him, but he sidestepped and walked right inside, showing no intention of leaving.
"You lie down and rest, I'll get you a cup of water." Joshua supported her to the bedside, then turned to the living room to get busy.
Keira furrowed her brows slightly. After taking the water cup he handed over, she said softly, "I'm fine now; you should go back and rest well too."
"I'll check if there's any food; you haven't eaten anything at noon." Joshua turned and walked to the Kitchen, not caring about Keira's urging.
Keira watched his back, feeling a wave of tiredness, and went to him again, saying, "Jacob Sydney, you should go back first."
He still remained unmoved, checking the refrigerator with his back to her, and said, "You can't be alone; I'll leave when you're better."
