Keira Leaf was resting her chin on her hand, staring blankly at the notepad in front of her. Her mind kept flashing back to the two red lines on the pregnancy test stick this morning, filled with an inexplicable unease and panic.
It was precisely this unease and anxiety that had left Keira unable to rest well for a whole week.
But whose child was it in her stomach, for her, it was an unsolvable answer.
"Felicity, your complexion has been really bad lately. Is it because you haven't been resting well, or because you're constantly worried about the child?" Annie Taylor asked with some concern, looking at Keira.
Keira let out a breath, lifted her eyes to look at Annie, her gaze a bit gloomy: "Annie, after I finish what I have to do today, if there's time in the afternoon, accompany me to the hospital."
Annie was slightly startled, looked at Keira's stomach, and spoke softly: "You want... you want to abort the child?"
