Tania Scott's heart sank, and she forced herself to suppress the look of fear that threatened to surface.
She curled her lips into a smile. "The dishes at home are delicious too. Are you still heading out to eat?"
"The dishes at home may be good, but seeing the same people too often becomes tiresome, especially those who are utterly useless."
As Evelyn Lucas walked past her, she deliberately shoulder-checked her.
Then she clung to Nolan Lucas's arm, her voice coquettish, "Brother, it's getting late. After our meal, we still need to catch that movie. You promised me! I've been waiting forever to see it, and you are absolutely not allowed to back out!"
Evelyn whined to Nolan as she used her chest to press against his arm.
The winter clothes were thick, and Nolan, accustomed to his sister's intimacy, didn't notice anything inappropriate in her actions.
