Evelyn Sherman checked Chester Yale once, then looked at him with a calm expression and asked somewhat surprised.
If it really were Leo Lawrence, how could his expression show no change at all?
Logically, he harbored such gratitude towards the Lawrence Family that he would have let his own son endure rather than fall out with them. Now, discovering that the person behind it all, from beginning to end, was Leo Lawrence, whom he once trusted, he should be very angry.
"Shouldn't we wait for the police investigation to end to know for sure? Why are you so nervous?" Chester Yale looked at the cautious Evelyn Sherman, furrowing his brow even more tightly.
Did he seem as if he needed someone to worry about him?
"Evelyn Sherman, if you have something to say, just say it directly. Don't look at me with those eyes." Chester Yale's thin lips moved slightly, pulling Evelyn Sherman over to the sofa, letting her sit down.
