Charles White spoke anxiously.
As soon as he spoke, Zoe Yale froze, turning her head to look at him, her eyes filled with confusion.
"Why are you so interested in that little boy's matter? You talk as if you know him..." Zoe Yale mumbled, then suddenly sprang out from his arms, sitting across from him with a face full of alertness.
"I was just asking about your childhood sweetheart that you liked. You haven't explained to me, yet you keep asking about my childhood. Are you trying to change the topic?"
She almost fell for it!
Charles White: "..."
He wasn't changing the topic; he was just making an assessment.
If he admitted to what happened back then, would he get beaten up? Or get beaten up? Or get beaten up?
It seems there is no suspense in the outcome...
So should he admit it or not?
"Charles White, you really have a girl you've liked for many years, so if that person appeared, would you like her more or like me more?"
