Zoe Yale changed her clothes and sneaked downstairs, catching a glimpse of Chester Yale sitting in the living room reading the newspaper. She quickly slipped back into her room.
She sent a text message to Evelyn Sherman on her cell phone.
She told her mom that her grandmother had arranged a blind date for her, and she needed to go out.
"Beep beep!" The text message alert sounded quickly.
Zoe Yale nervously opened it and found only one line of text: [Wait for two minutes]
Feeling a glimmer of excitement, Zoe grabbed her cell phone and moved to the side of the stairs, poking her head out to look downstairs.
The next second, she saw the butler walking to Chester Yale's side.
"Mr. Yale, Madam said she's not feeling well and asked you to go in and check on her."
As soon as he heard that Evelyn Sherman was unwell, Chester Yale tossed the newspaper aside, sprang up from the sofa, and headed back to the bedroom.
Zoe Yale seized the opportunity and sprinted outside.
