Flat-Brim Samurai Chapter 97 - A Dragon's Power
Noah screamed out before dashing at it again, KABOOM unfortunately he was hit with the tail of this dragon and was knocked miles away. With the spacerending sound, all clouds in the northern hemisphere parted ways. The dragon raised its head and roared ,"RAAAAHHHHHHH!!!" Katie charged up a massive Iceshard in the back as Apollo and Brandon flew at the dragon. Apollo dropped his sword to his side and slashed at the giant monstrosity SLASH. Brandon climbed on it's back and pulled out his knives, he turned them around and continuously stabbed its back, making sure to puncture it deeply with his ki STIK STIK STIK. But even then, it wasn't really receiving much damage.
The dragon began spinning in circles, shaking them off, it then started dropping towards the ground before flipping open his wings again FWOOSH. Cias entered the fray as he stabbed into the beast from above with his spear STIK. Cias had Imbued his spear with Flame, spawning Flame Spears around himself and attacking from all angles BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM. Cias then backed up and manipulated the length of his spear to pierce the beast from a distance. In that minute moment, it gave Katie a window to unleash her massive attack Art: Iceshard SWOOOOOSH KABOOM. It sliced at the dragon, but it dodged last second, making the wound surprisingly unfatal. The dragon was furious ,"ROOOOOAAAARRRRRR!!!" The dragon reached and grabbed the Iceshard, tearing it from his body before repairing the damage.
It instantly charged up a flame attack and spewed out another pillar of fire FWOOOSH. He dragged his fire along the skyline, hitting everyone in an instant. Those lucky enough to block the damage with a barrier were at least lucky enough to not die. Cias, Apollo and Brandon were all badly burnt, their muscles were even visible to the naked eye. Their arms and heads were bone chillingly melted down. ,"AAAGGGHHHHH," Apollo screamed. Apollo smiled and laughed even without his lips ,"YOU THINK THIS IS ENOUGH TO STOP ME,THIS ISN'T MY FIRST TIME GETTING A LITTLE BURNT!!!" Cias and Brandon backed away whilst Apollo stepped forwards, Reese stood with him. ,"LET'S GET HIM!!!" Apollo screamed in a blood curdling tone, blood expelling with each breath from his mouth. ,"THAT'S IT APOLLO, THAT'S WHY WE'RE FRIENDS!!!" Screamed Noah, just getting back from his trip.
Apollo was losing blood but he could still fight if he regenerated the missing blood as fast as he was losing it. At that moment, everyone other than his previous friends suddenly knew how he was able to get this strong. His unwavering, primal urge to get stronger infected each one of his cells. Making his body believe it could do anything. Apollo was even getting stronger as rage and excitement powered his spirit. He, Noah and Reese launched at the dragon at their top speeds. Apollo slashed up this monster thousands of times STIK STIK STIK whilst Reese swung up and sliced open the dragon's stomach STAAACK. After Reese warmed the dragon up for massive damage, Noah Punched the dragon's stomach numerous times BAM BAM BAM BAM, before flying upwards to strike at its head BOOM. The dragon, having its guts spilling and damaged beyond repair grabbed Reese and started to squeeze, he was breaking through bones CRACK CRACK. Apollo approached the arm, time from his perspective seemed to slow down as he cut through the arm at least 100 times SLASLSALSLASLASLALSALSLASLASLA SPLOOSH. The dragon's blood, broiling with heat, spurted everywhere, which gave Reese the time to back away.
The dragon flapped its wings, trying to crush Apollo between them but Apollo unsummoned his sword and gripped both wings, pulling it up, Apollo's muscles bulged and ached. Apollo then summoned his sword and called upon his companions ,"ATTACK HIM!!!" They all gathered around and flew upwards. Katie charged her Ice Spear, Reese widened his swing with his battleaxe, Brandon brought his knives out in front of him, Cias aimed his spear, Noah raised his fist and Apollo lifted his sword in the air. Their combined powers made space compress BWOOOOSH. A massive ki wave pulsated throughout Earth, causing the planet to rumble. They screamed as they blasted through the dragon KABOOMOHOHOHOHOHOOHO.
The dragon was dying out in the sky, but something was happening. Its internal reserves of ki were flowing out aggressively. The group knew what was going on in an instant, Katie screamed at everyone ,"PUSH IT WITH YOUR TELEKINESIS INTO DEEP SPACE, IT'S GOING TO EXPLODE." Even then, they weren't moving it fast enough, Katie screamed again ,"C'MON MORE, GIVE IT MORE!!!" Noah then said ,"I KNOW JUST WHAT IT NEEDS!!!" Falling to the ground. Hewent into a deep squat before launching at the dragon like a missile, his leg out in front, KABOOOOOOOOMMM. He left behind a massive crater along with spatial distortions. He drilled his foot into the creature that resulted in a spatial boom (Similar to a sonic boom but with space instead of air). This massive force sent the beast flying out of orbit. The dragon's body ballooned and collapsed in on itself, causing a massive explosion. The fabric of space and time rumbled and then straightened out again, as if saying to fight was done.
John looked at Dan ,"Now that I have them handling that dragon of yours we can finally talk." Dan looked coldly at John ,"There is no talking about what you did to me, what I ask for now is simply just conflict." Dan tore through the air and engaged in direct combat with John, lightning crackled with each blow they exchanged CRACK CROOK CRACK. However, John wasn't naive ,"If this is how it is, then this is how it must be." Space came to a standstill, as if it were his to control ,"It's about time I take this fight seriously," ,"What do you mean?" John activated Art: Space ,"This battlefield is mine, which means that you will perish right here and now."
