"This castle is grand..."
Xie Shoushan walks through palace, knees quaking but brave glint on his smirk face.
"Incorrect. It is evil!"
Dai Jinhai is lengths away from Xie Shoushan, and yet he hears and loudly complains.
"Apologies..." Xie Shoushan looks under a table for dumplings, while apologizing towards Dai Jinhai.
The castle belonging of the Four Fiends is dark black, stairs lead upwards everywhere. And not one living is there.
"Dai Jinhai, we will go up? Often the worst enemies of heroes lie at the top of evil castle!"
Dai Jinhai offers no reply but walks up the steps. His steps don't make a sound, as if he is a mouse.
Stomp, stomp, stomp.
Xie Shoushan...not so much.
"The grilled fish and dumplings I often eat are catching up with me and making my steps not soft and silent, but like that of a boar." Xie Shoushan grumbles, as the entire castle hears his footsteps.
"QUIET DOWN!!" Dai Jinhai screams, his eyes enraged with the fire.
"And now the entire castle can hear you too... sighs~~"
After countless steps of stairs the unbreakable friendship meets the final floor. It is red checkers on the ground and black light fixture at the ceiling.
Xie Shoushan spots a throne at the end.
"The throne for king of dumplings! It is calling to me!"
Xie Shoushan runs, he feet flying through the sky...but then the ceiling crashes as well as the light fixture.
Xie Shoushan calls out in fear.
Dai Jinhai takes a step back, "The fiend Taotie is appeared right here. His dragon breath curses the light of my eyes and fire of my soul!! Be vanquished!"
Dai Jinhai throws short spears towards the beast who had fallen through the floor...but..
The spears nearly hit Xie Shoushan, out hero, in the back.
Xie Shoushan hops and the spear jumps under his legs and right towards...
The floor!
"Direct hit!"
"Not!" Growls Dai Jinhai who throws another spear.
Xie Shoushan hops around in a circle.
"Do not throw again...the Fiend is still strong and one spear will not destroy it...but it will destroy me!"
Xie Shoushan dodges this spear as well but it also is flung into the ground.
Taotie roars. The first sound from the Fiend! And then it uses its claws to grab Xie Shoushan!
"No! Unhand me!" Xie Shoushan screams in a panicked.
Xie Shoushan is no longer the calm collected Daoist. He is afraid!
