Chapter 15 - CHAPTER FOURTEEN

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Both lost in their own world they turned their heads to the door at the sound of it opening.
Celeste narrowed her eyes as she took note of the outfit the woman was wearing as well as the expression in her eyes.
'She was staring at my husband like he's her next meal' she thought to herself.
Rose, the secretary stared at Celeste with hostility then she quickly changed her expression before Zavid noticed anything but Celeste felt the deep sitting hostility, jealousy, resentment and hatred?
She wondered why the secretary hated her. But since she disliked her she wouldn't mind it being more.
She got up and walked towards Zavid and sat on his lap. Zavid raised his brow but didn'tind as he wrapped his hand round her waist. She giggled as she felt him breathing at her neck clearly feeling ticklish.
Rose was seething as she stared at the scene. Clearly angry at the turn of event. A murderous look flashed through her eyes quickly, and it left as soon as it came but Zavid caught a hold of it.
His eyes narrowed as he stared at her, she felt a chill ran down her spine and breathless. Her boss looked at her as though she was a dead person.
" Sir please you have a meeting in twenty minutes."
She managed to let out before rushing out of the office. Celeste stared at her confused but just thought she was angry but little did she know.
' That woman needs to go' the thought flashed through Zavid's mind as he thought of ways to get rid of her.
" You have a meeting in a few minutes."
Celeste muttered as she got off him. But he held her waist.
" Zavid."
" Hmmm.*
"Let go of me else you'll be late."
His chest vibrated with laughter as he tightened his hold. She gave up struggling as she noticed it.
" I want you to go with me."
"No, I don't want to."
" Why?"
She stared at his face confused as to why he wanted to drag her to his meeting.
" Why should I go?"
" Because I want you there."
She stared at his face then lowered her head. She was thinking trying to come out with a way to maneuver out of the situation.
" But it's gonna be boring."
She said whilst pouting her lips.
Her stand at her lips and kissed them. Shocked she didn't respond to his kiss.
" Don't pout your lips."
She snapped out of daze when she heard his voice, he then started laughing seeing her in a daze.
" But babe you're not being fair to me."
She stared at him confused.
" I don't complain when to talk about your science school lesson and what goes on there."
" Alright I'll join you to go."
She muttered and he laughed seeing her down cast look earning him a glare. He released her as she got off him.
They both straighten out their outfit as she took her purse and followed him. He wrapped his arms round her waist as they both headed to the meeting room.
The employees thought to themselves that their boss was really possessive of his wife. As they made their way there Celeste inquired more out the business as he filled her in.
As they both entered the meeting hall all eyes turned to them. Zavid turned expressionless and so did Celeste. She learnt a thing from her Aunt Zoe.
A short pov
Celeste's POV
He looked really handsome and dominant as he spoke like an alpha. I noticed one of them repeatedly going against him as cunning ness flashed their that person's eyes. It's good I dabbled a bit in human behavior.
They all kept asking stupid questions, it left me speechless for a moment as I watched them acting like kids but I noticed Zavid was close to losing his patience.
I held him hand and signaled for him to calm down, they continued but I saw the meeting was going nowhere.
" Trust me.'
I whispered to him to let me take the lead. He looked unsure but yet I could see the trust in his eyes.
I stared at every one of the shareholders sharply shocked by my gaze some of them flinched. I should thank Aunt Zoe for all her lessons. They're coming in handy now.
~~~~~~~~£~~~~~~~~~~`~~~~~

Everyone in the meeting room looked shocked as they noticed a change in her aura. It was so cold, she was colder than Zavid with the smile on her face so chilling. It was like a snake staring at you in the shadows.

Zavid looked shocked by the change in her and smirked as he looked at the representatives. Her eyes glanced at every one them as she walked to the board where the plans laid written.

" All your solutions are good but impractical." She paused as she looked at them.

" If you want to get the residents to sells their homes to do make them believe ,put yourselves in their shoes."

" Sometimes force would get you nowhere but rather persuasion is the key. If you force those residents to the corner they strike back."

Her eyes stared at every one of them.

" As we buy these apartments building we also need to build our image and there's free marketing."

" So what do you suggest now."

Miles one of the representatives asked.

"Well.... here's our strategy to get the residents of the apartment building to sell to us."**

1.Build Rapport and Trust**

* "First, we need to establish trust with the residents. We can't just show up and make offers; we have to understand their concerns and show we genuinely care about their situation. This means sending a friendly, approachable team to introduce themselves personally. Host an open house or community event where we can explain who we are and what our intentions are with the property. Transparency will be key here."

2. Understand Their Motivations

"People sell for different reasons—some for financial reasons, some to move closer to family, and others because they see an opportunity for a better living situation. We'll need to survey the residents or have one-on-one conversations to understand their individual motivations. Once we know this, we can tailor our offers to align with what they care most about."

3.Offer Competitive Incentives

"We need to make it worth their while. This could include offering above-market prices, covering moving expenses, or even helping them secure new housing. For renters, we might consider offering relocation assistance or incentives like several months of rent in their next place, fully paid. For homeowners, we could offer flexible closing dates or bonuses for early agreements."

4.Use a Collective Approach

"Instead of approaching residents one by one, we should consider a collective offer to the entire building. This could include a buyout where everyone benefits equally or a vote-based system where the majority decides. This gives them a sense of power and community in the decision-making process."

5.Highlight the Benefits of Selling

"We need to clearly communicate the advantages of selling to us. For instance, if the building needs significant repairs or upgrades, we can highlight the cost savings for them. If we're planning to redevelop or improve the space, we can emphasize how they'll be contributing to the neighborhood's growth."

6.Leverage Professional Negotiators

"We should bring in experienced negotiators or real estate experts who have a proven track record with these types of deals. They can help navigate any legal or emotional hurdles that might arise."

7.Address Resistance Strategically

"We should anticipate some residents may resist. For those cases, we'll need to listen carefully, address their concerns, and potentially offer additional incentives. If pushback comes from a legal or regulatory standpoint, we'll work with our legal team to ensure we're fully compliant while still pushing forward."

8. Set a Clear Timeline and Follow Up

* "Lastly, we need to set a timeline for this process. People need to know when to make a decision and what the next steps are. Regular follow-ups will be critical to keep momentum and ensure no one feels left out or ignored."""'

They all stared at her in shock. Her business acumen was no less than that of her husband's.

"In short, this is about thoughtful engagement, fair offers, and clear communication. If we execute this plan with empathy and professionalism, we'll not only get the deal done but also build goodwill in the community. Let's get started by assigning roles to begin outreach and preparing tailored offers."

She turned to look at Miles.

" So Miles do you have a question."

He shook his head as she sat back down.

Seemingly unaffected by the gazes on her. Now she could see the respect in their eyes. She earned it.

Zavid stared at her with pride. Celeste felt that if he had a tail it would be up in the air.

Everyone felt their hair standing when they noticed a shift in her aura to that of innocence.

For someone to be able to have that much control. They stared at her in a new light with respect.

Zavid signaled for them to continue the meeting on how to go about everything using Celeste's ideas.

" Did I do good?*

She whispered to Zavid.

" Better than I thought , oh yes and one more thing."

" What?"

" You looked rather sexy and ravishing."

She shook her head but the redness on her cheeks said otherwise. They both turned their attention back to the meeting.
