"How did you even get here?" I asked as she got on my unicorn.
Aalia smiled. "Came on a wagon with some traveling merchants from Kasai no Ki. They're enroute to your town, Farid."
Farid smiled. "Oh? Did you convince them to take the old road?"
She gave him as slight nod as our unicorns resumed their journey. "It might be a bit treacherous, but for east of the valley, that old path is still a time-saver."
"Penny pinching merchants. I would prefer the safer route," Noel said, sighing.
I smiled slightly at him. The poor guy had panicked when we passed through the narrow path with our wagon. And I couldn't blame him. Although we had our wings, a failure to react on time could send us falling to our doom.
Noel looked at Aalia. "So, your spear allows you to see the future?"
