Amaya PoV
Raiki bounced on my bed first thing in the morning. "Come on, Mama! Let's get going!"
I sighed
"Alright, alright, I'm up," I grumbled, rubbing my eyes. The desert sun was already streaming through the window, painting the room in hues of gold and amber. "Give me a moment to get ready, my little dragon."
Raiki giggled and jumped off the bed, landing with a soft thud. "I'll go wake up Ame and Kuroshi!"
"No, Raiki, let them sleep," I said, sitting up and stretching. "They had a long night."
Raiki tilted his head. "They did? What were they doing?"
"Adult matters," I said, grabbing my robe from the chair beside the bed. "Now, go get you cleaned up. I'll join you in a moment."
He pouted but nodded, scurrying towards the bathroom. "Okay, Mama."
