"Did you ever figure why your parents left?" Setsuka asked, intrigued.
I looked down and blushed. "Uh, I can guess."
"Oh? Do tell," Kisara said, laughing.
"Kisa," Uneri mumbled, glaring slightly at his wife. It was funny how Kisara shared more in common with mom than with Uriana. But then again, my mom was also her ancestor. So being a tease ran in the family. Not that I was one. It skipped me, for better or worse.
I took a deep breath, my cheeks burning. "My parents were very... affectionate with each other."
Setsuka blinked and blushed too. "Ooooh! I see. Say, did the tribe ever ask them about their disappearance? The chief seemed to be in a hurry to get moving." She hummed. "He didn't seem mad at them."
