Orlin PoV
I escorted Eileen and Raisuke to the meeting room. We were the first ones to enter the room, allowing me to interrogate them.
Eileen sighed and crossed her legs as soon as she took a seat. "Acting prim and proper with you sure is exhausting, even if it's only for a short while."
I scoffed. "Likewise."
Raisuke shook his head at us. "You two won't ever get along, will you?"
"Nope!" we said in unison.
He snickered. "Yet you two are of the same mind."
We both grumbled, glaring at him.
He chuckled. "You two are like cats and dogs."
"More like a cat and a particularly stubborn mule," Eileen shot back, crossing her arms defiantly.
I huffed. "You are right about the stubborn part, but I prefer to think of myself as a mighty dragon ruling over his domain."
She scoffed. "More like lizard basking in the sun."
I clicked my tongue.
