Alexander silently added some herbs to his tomato-based pasta sauce, his mind still reeling from when he had woken up. Since the incident with the stalker, his brain kept replaying that memory of when he was attacked.
Only now instead of him being stabbed, it was Auralia. It sickened him to the point of puking, dreading sleep until his body was beyond exhausted.
He was doing anything to avoid sleep, tracking down evidence against the stalker himself, until he couldn't anymore. His body finally demanded sleep and he gave in, allowing the nightmares to haunt him once more.
A part of him knew he should get some help with the nightmares, but he couldn't find it in himself to speak up. His reaction to the whole ordeal had him feeling like some kind of idiot.
