Three days later, Auralia found herself back at the airport after their return flight from the island. She was sad to leave the resort, but there was much to do back home. Most of which couldn't be delayed anymore.
"There's Michael." Alexander murmured softly next to her as they were looking around for their ride home.
Michael had offered to pick them up from the airport to make sure they got back to the apartment safely. And without any trouble.
He didn't say the last part, but Auralia had a feeling that was his reason for personally coming. Mostly because either one of them could've gotten a driver to come fetch them at the airport.
The two quickly walked over to where Michael was waiting for them. They had to squeeze past a few people, the airport bustling with many travellers. Thankfully, everyone was in their own world so didn't recognize Alexander.
"Welcome back." Michael greeted them when they finally got to him. "I hope he was too much trouble, Auralia?"
