Felix stood in the middle, with the newcomers surrounding him from the front and behind him.
"So… Who are you guys?"
They glanced at each other, not answering, but subtly spread out so there was no way for him to slip past.
But only the ones near the sinkhole did so, because the others behind clearly saw him coming out of the ground like a ghost.
So instead of keeping up their guard and being cautious, the ones behind him were more terrified.
"I'm Nicole. Who are you? And what is your affiliation?"
Nicole stepped forward and said, ready to launch an attack or guard himself depending on the man's answer.
'My affiliation? What should I say?', Felix thought what could be the right reply.
'If I say the two guilds and they turn out to be the six guilds, then they'll attack me. If not, then the reaction's unknown.'
'On the other hand, if I say I'm from the six guilds, then they may either attack me, or get deceived and I could act as a spy before launching an attack...'
