(Jason's POV)
"Shit.." I said as I stumbled, "Irene....."
I watched as she descended slowly, landing on top of a small platform that was in front of us. She was giving me a serious scowl, her expression full of anger and contempt.
Invel looked at her, "Irene." He said, "Why did you shatter my ice? You freed the-"
"Silence!!" Irene snapped, "You insolent brat, begone with you! I'll handle these three, now leave us!"
I saw as Invel narrowed his eyes, "Irene-"
Irene glared at him, "Did I stutter, Invel?" She said with venom, "I said leave."
She let out a thicker aura, causing the ground to tremble violently. It was a very immense magic power she was letting out, causing the air to get heavy. It was getting hard to breathe, even for me. Then again, I was heavily injured but still. I noticed both Erza and Kagura were struggling to stay standing, their knees buckling and bodies shaking slightly.
"What kind of power is this?" Kagura said as she sweated
"Who is this woman?" Erza said quietly, "This power...."
I glanced to my left to see Dimaria slowly walking away. I could easily tell she wanted no part in this. The last thing she wanted was to anger Irene.
"I'll go and handle the others...." Dimaria said, "Irene-sama, if you require assistance, let me know...."
Irene nodded, "Yes." She said, "Now, go."
Dimaria then disappeared, followed by Invel. The Winter General had a very reluctant look on his face, but he also didn't want to antagonize a clearly angry Irene.
"Irene.." I said, "Wha-"
I was interrupted by a vicious blast of pure magical power that sent me flying back.
"Jason!!" both Kagura and Erza yelled out
I crashed against a pillar that was erected, next to Erion. I felt as if the entire stone thing collapsed into me.
"Aghh....." I said slowly standing up as I pushed the debris off of me, "What the hell...."
I looked up to see Irene pointing her large wooden staff at me, it was letting out a crimson glow. Her expression then immediately softened as she looked to my fight, seeing Erion.
"E-Erion...." She said softly
Upon hearing those words, Erion slowly looked up. I saw that he had a cautious look on his face, his bright blue eyes full of fear.
Irene shed a tear, "Oh, my beautiful boy..." She said, "Look at you, so grown....."
Erion let out a low grumble as he slowly stood up. There was no sign of hostility coming from him, I could tell. Normally, he would growl defensively if there was someone he didn't recognize. Also, there's the fact that Irene is a Dragon. It was surprising he didn't show any hostility to her. I mean, she was his mother.
Erza looked at me, "Jason, are you okay?" She said as she took a step, "I-"
"Don't move." Irene said seriously, "If you move, I'll kill you."
Erza stood still, she was facing me. I could see that Kagura was also standing still, her back facing me.
I panted, "Irene!" I said as I clutched my chest, "I-"
"Quiet, Jason." Irene said, "I am here for my son. I care not for you. But.....my orders are absolute. His Majesty wishes for you to die."
I looked at her, "Irene, you wouldn't."
She gave me a serious glare, "You had your chance." She said, "You were to be my husband. We were to raise our son after this War. But you refused. In doing so, you forfeited your life. I am sorry, as much as it pains me to do so, I have to follow orders."
Irene then swung her staff at me, sending a massive wave of flames shooting straight at me.
I braced myself but I then saw both Erza and Kagura appearing in front of me. Erza was in her Flame Empress Armor while Kagura had her blade drawn. The both of them swung their blades and split the massive torrent of flames away.
"Oh?" I heard Irene say as I collapsed to my knees
My body was still in pain, it was hard to move freely.
"T-Thanks..." I said
"I won't let anyone harm you, Jason." Kagura said
"You!" Erza said, "Do you expect us to stand by and let you kill him?!"
I looked at Irene, she was staring at Erza with a calm and collected expression.
"Oh, Erza." She said, "You really wish to endanger yourself, my dear?"
"H-How do you know my name?" Erza asked, "Who are you?!"
Irene smiled slightly, "Well...." She said, "Before that....Erion, come."
Erion then slowly walked toward to where Irene was, his head hung low.
"No, Erion." I said, "Don't..."
"Silence, Jason." Irene said, "Erion's instincts are clear as day. He would not refuse his mother. Wouldn't you, boy?"
Erion lifted his head towards Irene who extended her arm towards him, gently patting him on the snout.
"Jason...." Kagura said, "This is not good.....if Alvarez gets ahold of him...."
"Look at you, my darling.." Irene said to Erion with a smile, "You're so full of power, it is magnificent. I was against you being a dragon at first, but now.....I see it clearly.....You're beautiful..."
"Erion-kun!" Erza said, "Don't listen to her! Come to your father!"
Erion let out a low grumble as he closed his eyes, as if he was enjoying the touch of his own mother.
"Don't listen to her, my boy." Irene said, "She may be your sister, but I am your mother. You will listen to me."
"W-Wait...." Erza said, "What?!"
I stood up, gathering the strength to stand as I walked past Kagura and Erza.
"Oi, Erion!" I called out, "Come over here!"
Erion opened his eyes and looked at me with surprise.
Irene looked at me, "Stay out of this, Jason." She said
"Wait Jason." Erza said as she grabbed my shoulder, "What does she mean by sister? What's going on?"
I turned to look at her, "Uhm...." I started
She was looking at me with a confused look, "Wait...." She said, "Is this what you were hiding?"
I turned back to look at Irene who was patting Erion's snout still.
"Oh, Erza." Irene said as she looked at us, "You've grown so much, I must say. A fine woman, you've become."
"You don't mean...." She said
Irene nodded, "That is correct, Erza." She said, "I am your Mother. You are my daughter. And Erion here, he's your baby brother."
She's gone ahead and said it. Well, I expected for this truth bomb to be dropped sooner or later and I was wondering who was gonna do it.
"Jason..." Erza said, "Did you..."
"Oh, Jason knew." Irene said, "When he bedded me, He was well aware of the fact. Did he not tell you?"
I gulped, "Ah shit..." I said under my breath
"Are you serious, Jason!?" Erza yelled, "You had sex with my mother?!"
I looked at her, "That's what is bothering you right now?" I asked her
Kagura was standing quietly and glancing at Erza who was blushing slightly.
"I....no!" Erza stammered, "I mean.....I grew up in an orphanage...and...Uhm....I didn't know I had a mother....this is all too much to take in....but.....Jason! Erion was my brother and you didn't tell me?!"
This is why I didn't want to tell her at a time like this. I wasn't sure if she was going to take it well, not care at all, or jumble her brain while trying to make sense of it all. It must be crazy to think about; her mom being a Shield of Spriggan, a Dragon, and the mother of my son. I mean, I had sex with Erza too, right after Irene too.
I was going to say something when Irene spoke up.
"This may be a bit too much to take in." She said, "But at the moment, I care not. I will take both Erion and Jason with me if you don't mind, my daughter."
Erza looked at Irene as she shook her head, "Forget all that." She said seriously, "This is War! I am not going to let you do that!!"
"I would love to see you try." Irene said, "Last I checked, you are not strong enough to handle me."
I let out a sigh, "Fuck this." I said releasing an aura of power, "I don't want to deal with this at all, Irene. Hand my son over, or else."
"Oh?" She said, "You wish to oppose me?"
I gave her a serious glare, "You and I both know your Enchantments won't work on me directly." I said, "So you cannot undo my magic."

I felt an overwhelming feeling of power began to creep up and engulf my entire body as I summoned an armor.
Erza looked at me, "J-Jason..." She said, "This power...."
I nodded as I felt the armor fully clad me, "Don't worry." I said, "I may be weakened, but not so weak to be easily defeated by her. After all, I defeated Acnologia."
