The Blue Man remained silent for few moments before he continued.
"Tell me, what do you understand about souls?" He asked as he gazed at Amden.
Amden frowned at the question. He did not reply immediately and pondered for a few minutes.
"Soul is the basis of life," he answered in an uncertain manner as if asking the blue man to confrim his thoughts.
"Correct, but too primitive," the blue man nodded.
He started to walk around casually and spoke. "Soul is the basis of life, but the concept of soul is much more complex. Although I cannot elaborate on it for now, let me tell you an example."
He continued, "On your planet, when someone executes a killing blow, they destroy the physical body as well as the soul of the person. But consider that the cube just destroyed the physical body of the ancient god and sucked its soul along with its consciousness. The soul was not destroyed."
The man went silent for some time, and Amden pondered what the man wanted to imply by all this.
