It took Alicia before she was able to compose herself.
"What do you mean by that?" She questioned with a stutter.
A ting of amusement flashed into Amden's eyes as his smile turned into a wide grin. He took a step forward and stood dangerously close to Alicia.
"What I mean by what I say is a very interesting thing, Miss. Telon," he whispered. "Such exquisite control over flames cannot be a mere coincidence."
Alicia's calmness melted away in an instant. She was now fully sure that her secret had been exposed. She was confused and bewildered.
'How did he know? No one, from my awakening until now, has ever had slightest of doubt about all this,' she mused inwardly.
She took a breath and asked, "How do you know? And how much exactly do you know? And what do you want now?"
"Don't worry, Miss Telon," he replied with the same smile "No one apart from me will know your secret."
"Now, what I want is... well, I am not very sure," he continued. "It depends on what you wanted from me."
