Seeing the little boy looking at her, He Tang couldn't help but smile at him and softly said, "You're so cute."
The little boy seemed listless, his big eyes flickering as he looked at her.
The woman heard the commotion and turned around.
Seeing He Tang teasing her child, instead of showing kindness, she actually glared at He Tang viciously.
The woman shifted her position to hold the child, deliberately blocking the line of sight between He Tang and the child, and angrily said to the child in her arms, "Sleep! If you don't sleep, I'll hit you!"
This kind of intimidation was extraordinarily unpleasant for He Tang.
He Tang wasn't the type to be nosy, but this child obviously seemed listless; shouldn't the child's mother be concerned about whether the child is unwell? Why was she forcing the child to sleep?
