[A/N: I'm gonna try to speedrun towards past the Great Ninja War Arc. Try to get some cool moments. That said; I'll only focus on the adult characters, meaning the main cast won't be included until after the War when they're of age (18-19ish, during the Naruto: The Last Movie period.)
I'll also stray from NTR so I'll think of some excuse for some characters that are either married or in a relationship in the canon story. An example is Kiba's dad being dead and all.
For those wanting any of the main cast; Sakura, Hinata, Ino, etc. Sorry, but hopefully I'll reach to that point before the weekly rotation ends.]
(Midora's POV)
"What is it, Kakashi?" I said as I leaned against the tree, "I got stuff to do."
Kakashi was spinning a Kunai around his finger as Yamato walked up to us.
Kakarshi glanced at him, "You're late, Yamato." He said
"Sorry, I got side-tracked." Yamato said, "Hello, Midora-san."
I nodded, "Sup." I said, "Anyways, what's this about? Like I said, I got things to do. Tsunade is going to send me on another mission, she just sent word to me. Going to Sunagakure...."
"Is that so?" Kakashi said, "In that case, I'll make it quick. After your mission, I hope it's quick, I wish for you and Yamato to oversee Naruto's training. Lord Jiraiya says there's a chance he'll lose control."
I gestured at Yamato, "He can handle it." I said, "Wood Style is by default a Biju suppressor, I think he'll be fine."
"I'm flattered, Midora-san, but despite me having Wood Style, I doubt it'll be strong enough..." Yamato said
I raised an eyebrow, "What? Not confident enough?" I asked
"Thing is..." Kakashi said, "As harsh as this sounds, Yamato isn't a pure Senju with the true Wood Style Kekkei Genkai. He's just a successful experiment with Lord First's cells."
I sighed, "The famous Hashirama cells!" I said, "I read the files on Orochimaru's research. To think Lord First's genetics would be this legendary. That Snake and even Danzo crave for them...."
"And in turn, yours." Kakashi said, "Don't forget, you're the only Senju since Lord First to even have Wood Style. Nobody, not even Lord Second or Lady Fifth came close to that."
"Indeed." Yamato said, "I may be a successful experiment, but you're special, you're a True Senju. Almost like you're Lord First's reincarnation."
"That's weird." I said, "He's Tsunade's Grandfather, right? I just happened to be the great-grandchild of a distant cousin of his....or something....I don't know."
"It's well documented...." Kakashi said, "Your Great-Grandfather Tsukihiro Senju was a close companion to Lord First's Father, the Chief of the Senju clan back during the Warring-States period. Not directly related, but members of the same clan and genetic pool. The Wood Style Kekkei Genkai was bound to pop up in his bloodline."
"Indeed." Yamato said, "Also, let's not forget, you're a true Prodigy as well. Master of multiple elements and-"
"Now you're just hyping me up...." I said, "So this was it, Kakashi? You want me to help you out with Naruto's training?"
"Yes, that's correct." He said, "That was all."
I sighed, "I guess I'd do it." I said, "I am used to it. Lord Jiraiya had me help him out once during their travels so I guess it's the same."
"Ah, Lady Tsunade told me about that," Kakashi said
I nodded, "Yeah." I said, "I can teach Naruto a thing or two....besides being here for suppressing...."
"I appreciate it." Kakashi said, "There's also another thing I forgot to mention."
Yamato nodded, "That's right." He said, "The Akatsuki."
"What about them?" I asked
Kakashi gave me a serious look, "You ought to be careful on your travels, Midora." He said, "Considering your ability to suppress The Tailed Beasts..."
"They're targeting you."
