When Minotaur Chief Tory arrived, the battle was already over.
This division located east of the Minotaur Main Tribe was already shattered.
Dozens of injured Minotaurs knelt on the ground, wailing in pain. The houses around remained intact, but the battle-scarred land was riddled with pits, mostly the handiwork of the Minotaurs themselves.
"Where are they?"
Tory demanded of the Minotaur sentry beside him.
"They just retreated."
The Minotaur sentry felt a mountain of pressure coming over him and hurriedly replied.
"A single pink Minotaur and a Slime completely destroyed my division?"
Tory furrowed his thick brow, looking forward in disbelief.
"Lord Tory, this time it was a proper Slime army. They formed a phalanx and followed orders."
"Are you joking? When did Slimes ever have an army? These creatures have only ever been a nuisance to human villages, with no sense of discipline whatsoever."
Despite saying this, Tory immediately sensed something was amiss.
