"This way. Please follow me." whispered the receptionist.
Shami followed the receptionist, and they pushed through the crowd towards the back of the bank, while he pretended to anxiously inquire for information.
"What's happened here?"

The receptionist pulled Shami through the back door into the bank's interior.
