Lucas Hutt remembered that it was he who initially told Tina Hernandez that he wanted to be her husband for a lifetime, and it was he who gave Tina a wedding ring.
On top of that, his mother wouldn't allow them to divorce.
With these two factors, Tina had reasons not to divorce.
"I regret what I said that day and want to take it back," Lucas blurted out.
Tina's heart had already grown numb, and there were no emotional fluctuations. She gave a faint smile and said, "Why don't you talk to mom first about this? If she agrees to let you divorce me, come talk to me then. I'm very busy, that's it."
After she hung up the phone, she stared blankly at the bustling world outside the window.
Not until Robin Reade knocked on the door and came in, seeing Tina's pale face, he became concerned, "Ms. Hernandez, are you all right?"
Tina shook her head, "Not really."
That's right, not good at all. She was on the verge of becoming a divorced woman, how could she be okay?
